I did a post on my Facebook page the other day about using old gumboots as a "pair of pots". People thought I was nuts because I didn't post a picture.

Small Backyard Landscaping Ideas - Walls And Fences

Just by changing the color of a portion of your garden walls can have a dramatic effect on the visual appeal of your flowerbeds. You need to experiment with the right colors but here is an example:

A pale purple wall serving as a backdrop for a bed that contains lilac, pink and white flowers really  accentuates the colors of the flowers.
